This art is not for children (although children seem to love it.)
This art is for grown ups who spend a lot of time in the nursery.
I am a felt artist but first and foremost a parent 
who has spent many years in a nursery.
 With this in mind I have created a unique collection of original work designed specifically for the room that we spend a lot of time in.
Big vibrant pieces, full of exciting textures and quirky designs that make us happy, 
even when we’re fit to drop.

 I won’t tire you with all the felt making techniques I use because I can get carried away, suffice to say that everything I do is done in the traditional way.
Each piece is lovingly hand rolled and wet felted and I use all the old methods of mosaics and inlays.  With my illustrative background, I am always keen to merge the traditional with the contemporary so I use old techniques 
but give them a very modern twist.
I love bold designs and textures that make you want to touch 
but most of all it's colour that talks to me....

All work is framed and ready to hang.  
I use flat contemporary wooden frames with deep quality mounts.
I use specialised non- reflective glass because I think it’s really important 
to be able to see every fibre clearly.
With this glass none of the exciting textures are lost.
